One of the most wonderful and romantic ways to experience Central Park is by Horse-Drawn Carriage. We make it extra special by including a fine dining experience at The Tavern on the Green right in the heart of iconic Central Park.

On your horse drawn carriage you can expect to see landmarks such as; The Wollman Rink in winter, or see it transformed into a fairground in summer. Other things you will see on the way include; The Pond, Zoo, Sheep Meadow, the Mall Statues and the Dakota (where the former Beatle John Lennon lived).

At the end of the ride you will be welcomed into the newly reopened iconic Tavern on the Green Restaurant. A modern tavern nestled in the beautiful Central Park setting and a landmark unlike any other. Centred around Chef Katy Sparks' hearty, rustic menu

shaped by local, seasonal ingredients, Tavern on the Green invites patrons into a warm, celebratory gathering space that captures the spirit of Central Park and the energy of New York City.

Originally designed by Calvert Vaux and built in 1870 to house the sheep that grazed in Central Park's Sheep Meadow, Tavern on the Green has proudly served locals, presidents, royalty, artists, actors, and first-time visitors since 1934.

Here we offer you a delicious three course menu with a set choice of starter, entrée and dessert (drinks are not included).

Please note: Dietary requirements can be catered for and need to be requested in advance. There are no age restrictions for participants and all will pay the Adult price.

 

 

  • This includes your Horse Carriage through Central Park with Dinner at the Tavern on the Green at approximately 20:00hrs.
  • Once all your details are confirmed, please proceed to the meeting point at CENTRAL PARK SOUTH at 59th Street (located across from the Ritz Carlton Hotel.) on your chosen day and ensure you are at your Carriage at 19:30pm. (Please do not be late as your carriage and dinner reservation can then not be guaranteed.)
  • After your Carriage Ride you will be dropped off at the Tavern on the Green Restaurant for your 3-course dinner at around 8pm. Please note drinks are NOT included and are payable at the venue.
  • You will be expected to make your own way back from the restaurant.
  • Dress code: Business/ Casual. Please do NOT wear trainers/sneakers, shorts, flip-flops and tank tops or vests.
  • Not available for passengers with disabilities requiring a wheelchair.
  • Please note, timings of the Horse Carriage and Dinner may vary depending on availability.
  • IMPORTANT: Horse carriages can only offer seats for a maximum of 4 person’s total. No horse carriage may operate during temperatures above 89 degrees Fahrenheit or in inclement weather.
  • Please note this Tour does not operate during American Holiday periods such as 4th July, Thanksgiving and Labor Day.
  • Please bring Valid Photo ID as you may require this at the Restaurant.
  • Booking needs to be a minimum of 2 persons.
