Puerto Vallarta’s original Whale Watching tour! The Humpback Whale is the most playful of all whales and they migrate to our mild tropical waters from their northern feeding grounds for mating and calving from December through March.
Males initiate mating rituals by singing and then display impressive demonstrations of power such as tail flapping, pectoral fin slapping, and breaches (where a 40 ton whale will come flying out of the water.) Females impregnated the year before calve and newborns are playful whilst their moms are trying to get them ready for the migration north.
Join us on our comfortable sailboats with excellent viewing; the best way to watch whales without disturbing them. Our guides provide a wealth of information and you can share our passion when we encounter these magnificent animals.
Continue on to the Marietas Islands National Park where you can jump in and snorkel and then have a chance to swim under the archway to the spectacular Playa de Amor (Lovers Beach.). We raise sails with the afternoon breeze and look for more whales on our return.
For those who enjoy nature, a trip like this is not to be missed!
