The Dalyan Delta, with a long golden sandy beach at its mouth, is a natural conservation area home to much wildlife and a refuge for sea turtles. Dalyan has many therapeutic hot springs. The waters, which contain healing elements and sulphur, are believed to cure rheumatism, skin, liver, spleen and bowel complaints as well as being beneficial for nervous and digestive disorders. The mud baths are also said to remedy skin conditions. Once you have smothered yourself in the mud you wait for few minutes allowing it to dry. You can then clean yourself in the sulphur pool.
