Like an exposed spine, the outer rim delivers you to the peak, as the sky remains just beyond your outstretched fingertips.
This adventure begins with a comprehensive briefing and safety demonstration, after which you’ll be provided with a bridge-suit, communications equipment and a bridge harness that’s linked to a static line throughout your climb.
Your climbing group will be accompanied by a fully-trained Climb Leader who will guide you to the top of the bridge, – that’s 134m above sea level!
As you make your way along the outer arch of the Bridge, the steady incline to the summit gives you plenty of opportunity to take in your incredible surroundings. You’ll have 360° views of Sydney, with the Sydney Opera House to the east and the Blue Mountains and the Harbour city surrounds to the west.
There are several climb options to choose from, including a normal Day Climb, Dawn Climb, Night Climb and Twilight Climb. Climb times will be confirmed on a first time available basis, if you have a preference in time please contact our call centre at the time of booking to advise.
PLUS Every ticket to the top includes a Climb group photograph, a BridgeClimb cap, a certificate of achievement and a free pass to the Pylon Lookout.

Please note that Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb is now open to tender and therefore confirmations for these tickets will take longer than usual.
We care about the Bridge and the safety of everyone who uses it. We equip you with all the outdoor gear you’ll need for your Climb based on the day’s weather conditions and our Health & Safety Essentials.
For safety reasons, you can’t carry anything with you on the Bridge. We provide secure lockers for you to keep your things in, including phones, cameras and GoPros. Our Climb Leaders will capture photos of you during your Climb.

Anyone who is generally fit and healthy, 8 years and older and with a sense of adventure is welcome to challenge themselves to the Climb of their Life.

To participate you need to have a general level of health and fitness, and the ability to climb independently. On the day, you will be provided with a BridgeClimb Declaration Form for completion. We do our best to help everyone climb, however there are some things that may prevent you from climbing safely, including:

We have helped thousands of people challenge their fear of heights by climbing to the top of the Bridge. If you are apprehensive, our team specialise in enabling you to overcome your fears to climb to the top of Bridge.
We care about our climbers; so please be aware that even if you have made a booking we reserve the right to decline participation or modify your Climb to keep you safe. Health & Safety Essentials are subject to change at our discretion

Weather: The Bridge Climb operates in all weather conditions with the exception of extreme weather (eg. electrical storms).
Clothing: Climbers will be provided with a bridge suit to wear over their existing clothing. All climbers must wear suitable enclosed rubber soled shoes such as runners or hiking shoes. PVC and leather soled shoes are not suitable.
Facilities: Lockers are provided as loose objects may not be taken onto the bridge. This includes cameras, mobile phones etc.
Climb 200 stairs inside the South-East Pylon to the Pylon Lookout for sweeping views of the World Heritage Listed Sydney Opera House and Harbour surrounds. The Bridge’s four pylons are primarily aesthetic. It took 250 Australian, Scottish and Irish stonemasons to prepare the granite for them.
Now home to the Pylon Lookout Museum, the South-East Pylon has been open to the public since 1934. The Museum contains a comprehensive collection of displays that celebrate the construction of the Bridge, and shares the challenges of our forefathers.
A free entry pass to the Pylon Lookout Museum is included in each BridgeClimb ticket.
Dawn Climb - This Climb departs before daybreak (limited departures). Spot the sun breakthrough on the horizon as the city kicks into gear. ( From 3am to 5.30am depending on time of year and demand)
Day Climb - This Climb departs from early morning to late afternoon (after “dawn” and before “twilight”), exposing the hum and buzz of the city in full swing. ( From 9am to 4pm)
Twilight Climb - This Climb departs as the day closes (speak to our staff for departures). Get the best of both worlds as you soak up the day’s sunset while the moon takes its nightshift. ( From 4pm to 7pm)
Night Climb - This Climb departs after the sun has set (after “twilight”), introducing the city alight and sparkling under a blanket of darkness. ( From 6pm to 8pm)

Availability: Climbs are available daily, with different ticket options for weekdays, weekends, at twilight and at night. Please note that the climb is not available on December 30th and 31st.
