Call To Book:

The Grand Palace, home to the Emerald Buddha, is the most important of all Thai monuments and a must-see when visiting Thailand. Built over two centuries ago, it was the residence of the Kings of Siam and its beauty must be seen to be believed! Book this tour in advance to ensure you don’t miss out.

Take a tour of the Grand Palace, one of the most important Thai monuments.

Once the home of the Kings of Siam, this magnificent palace was built in traditional Thai style combined with European designs.

Within the extensive Palace grounds is the Wat Phra Kaew, the most sacred and important of all Thai temples.

This contains the most revered Buddha image in the country - the Emerald Buddha - which is made from one solid piece of translucent green jade.

The end of the tour is located at Gems Gallery, although this is not actually part of the tour, passengers can just change vehicles incurring a wait of no more than 5 mins OR enjoy a complimentary drink and some much welcome air conditioning, watch a short film, walk through the factory and souvenir shop and browse through the world's biggest jewellery store.

At the end of the tour, you’ll be dropped off at your centrally located Bangkok hotel.

The dress code at the Grand Palace in Bangkok is strictly enforced. Previously, any visitor arriving who was not properly dressed was able to go to a booth near the main entrance and borrow appropriate clothing and leave their Passport or a Credit Card as security. However, this facility is not there any longer.

Effective immediately, any visitor arriving at the Grand Palace needing to change into something more suitable will need to go to a nearby shop to buy clothing. This would cost approximately 250-baht.
For your information, the following clothes are strictly not allowed as outer garments for both ladies and gentlemen:
1.       Shorts, mini-skirts, short skirts, tight fitting trousers, and tights
2.       See-through shirts and blouses, as well as culottes or quarter length trousers
3.       Sleeveless shirts or vests
4.       Sandals (without ankle or heel straps)
5.       Rolled-up-sleeved shirts
6.       Sweatshirts and sweatpants, wind-cheaters, pajamas and fisherman trousers

Foreigners and Thais are expected to be wearing black or white (or similar) in respect of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
